Fire Stopping
A high performance system providing fire protection to structural steel I section columns and beams. Systems have been tested and shown to provide up to 180 minutes fire resistance. The system has been designed to enhance speed and simplicity of installation using normal drywall methods.

No special installation techniques are required. The system features a special clip manufactured from 0.55mm mild steel, cold formed and protected by a hot dip galvanised zinc coating. This provides a strong, rigid metal structure to which fire protection board is applied. Completed column and beam linings provide a strong, impact resistant, smooth surface which accepts most types of decoration and makes the system particularly suitable for use in conjunction with plasterboard lined metal stud partitions and ceilings. Common materials and fixings allow increased site efficiency and considerable time saving over traditional methods.
